Rhaphidophora decursiva is a dramatic, fast-growing climbing aroid celebrated for its deeply split, elongated leaves that give it a bold, jungle-like presence. As the plant matures, the foliage becomes increasingly fenestrated and sculptural, creating a striking architectural look. When supported on a moss pole or trellis, it transforms into a true statement plant with a wild, tropical aesthetic.

Care Guide

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate moderate light but grows best with good brightness. Avoid harsh direct sun.

  • Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil has dried. Keep evenly moist but never waterlogged.

  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%), but adapts well to normal indoor conditions.

  • Temperature: Thrives in 18–30°C. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.

  • Soil: Well-draining aroid mix with bark, perlite, and coco coir.

  • Fertilizer: Feed monthly during active growth with a diluted balanced fertilizer.
