Alocasia Zebrina is toxic to cats, dogs, and reptiles if ingested. Like other Alocasias, it contains calcium oxalate crystals that can cause irritation of the mouth, drooling, vomiting, and digestive discomfort. It is not considered safe for tortoises, geckos, bearded dragons, or curious pets that enjoy chewing plants. Best displayed out of reach and admired from a respectful distance.
